Discover London Art

Discover London Art: Digital Stories is an interactive project that provides school-children in Southwestern Ontario with an opportunity to become familiar with the life and work of Canadian artists.

The stories showcase highlights from Museum London’s permanent collection. The content is organized in three categories: ‘artists’, artworks’, and ‘themes’.

The first three interactive stories are:

Artist: Paul Peel

Artwork: Car, by Greg Curnoe

Theme: Trailblazers (Women Artists in Southwestern Ontario, late 19th century and early 20th century)

We believe in the potential of art to spark children’s curiosity and foster meaningful interactions. The objective of Discover London Art is to facilitate and accompany the children’s first encounters with the city’s most significant art treasures. We are confident that it will be the beginning of long-lasting cultural experiences, which will contribute to their development as engaged citizens and mindful human beings.
