

Discover London Art: Digital Stories was an interactive project designed to provide schoolchildren in the London, Ontario region with an opportunity to become familiar with the life and work of Canadian artists.
The project was conceived as a storytelling project. It explored the connections between art, heritage and history, and contributed to raise awareness of the role of Museum London in the London community.
The objective was to explore how its collection reflects the multiple paths followed by local artists, how the institution has supported and promoted creators over the years, and how the museum provides visitors and users with a unique opportunity to engage with Canadian art.


Objectives:
- To encourage the exploration of the Museum’s collection.
- To provide young visitors with an opportunity to learn about the museum in advance, as a preparation for school tours and individual visits.
- To provide remote access to the Museum’s collection –enhancing the museum reputation.
- To address specific needs, challenges and opportunities, i.e. truth and reconciliation, ESL learning.
- To animate the Museum’s collections of artworks.
